The Crowne Plaza, just minutes from Greenville’s vibrant uptown entertainment and dining district, has recently completed its renovation of the hotel public areas as well as a full refresh of the 202 guestrooms.
To start, the vestibule was enlarged to create a more engaging entrance into the lobby, which was expanded to allow more natural light to enter from the front façade. Additionally, punched openings were added to extend the airiness throughout the lobby and lounge. Expansive dark millwork was removed and dated décor was refurbished and paired with new sleek furnishings in a textured charcoal palette.
Leading from the public areas to the refurbished guestrooms are the corridors, which were similarly renovated to a more modern aesthetic.
The new guestroom décor is designed with a timeless residential aesthetic in earthy colors combined with walnut and Macassar ebony casegoods. The awkward L-shaped configuration of a work space and bulky dresser has been replaced with a streamlined piece providing both drawer and desk space, as well as open shelving and a refrigerator cabinet, to allow for more open floor space.
